O'Donnell Family Eye Care

So often we take our sense of vision for granted. The first thing we do in the morning, even before getting out of bed or turning on the coffee maker, is open our eyes. We gather our bearings, make sure our feet touch the floor, and proceed to begin the day.
People who can't see suffer a serious handicap and have to learn a completely new and challenging skill set just to move from day to day. Therefore, it is incredibly important that we take the best care of the vision apparatus we've been given.
Enter Dr. Brian O'Donnell, with two locations serving the Greater Wyoming Valley: 226 Carey Avenue, in Wilkes-Barre; and a second office in the Dallas Corners Building, on Memorial Highway. The primary eye care physician at both locations, with 18 years of experience under his belt, employs a staff equally as qualified for the services they perform for their patients.
“Our goal is to create a referring, returning patient who we provided with the best vision results possible,” he said.
Dr. O'Donnell's offices are fully equipped with the latest technology for diagnosing and treating glaucoma, as well as a full optical lab for those patients who need their glasses in a hurry.
Although Dr. O'Donnell recently served on the Wilkes-Barre School Board, he chose not to run for re-election, as he has decided to focus more on expanding his practice. He describes himself as“chief cook and bottle washer.” Operating an eye care facility not only requires a comprehensive understanding of the eye, from the cornea to the occipital lobe in the brain, but also demands a strong knowledge of marketing techniques, and even basic business responsibilities.
When it comes to taking care of one of our most precious assets, we need a qualified and honest professional like Dr. O'Donnell to make sure our eyes are functioning in tip-top shape. Both locations accept most health care plans and offer office hours six days a week.
